My name is Joan Latacz, President of Advanced Marketing Specialists. For more than 20 years, I have helped businesses grow through strategic web development and organic search engine optimization (SEO). My approach goes beyond building websites. I integrate SEO into every element of a site to help clients achieve stronger visibility and long-term results on platforms like Google Search.
I specialize in WordPress development and have extensive experience with Adobe’s Creative Suite. I started building websites long before modern CMS platforms existed, coding by hand with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. That foundation provides me with a deeper understanding of how websites function, while today’s tools enable more efficient and effective builds.
I am originally from Sea Bright, New Jersey, a small coastal town between the Atlantic Ocean and the Shrewsbury River. After losing my home to Hurricane Sandy, I rebuilt both my life and business in Florida. That experience shaped my resilience and the way I approach challenges for my clients.
While in New Jersey, I managed my business while raising three children, served on the Board of Education, and founded the Sea Bright Business Alliance. I also successfully advocated for the development of a four-acre county dog park, securing more than $200,000 in funding to bring the project to life.
Today, I am based in Lithia, Florida in the Tampa Bay area, where my entire family now lives close by.
